Key requirements
Generally, the investor must invest the required minimum amount of capital (with a lower threshold for investments in designated Targeted Employment Areas), the funds must be lawfully sourced, and the investment must create or preserve at least ten full-time jobs for qualifying U.S. workers. Investors may invest directly in a new commercial enterprise or through an approved Regional Center.
